Bosch Rexroth Hydraulic

Bosch Rexroth has developed hydraulic drives and cylinders designed to handle the complex, powerful forces exerted by river dams and medium- and high-pressure hydroelectric power stations. We have in-depth experience applying hydraulics engineering principles to challenges such as:
  • Dam bottom outlet gates must produce high pulling and pushing forces of several 1,000 kN
  • Turbine intake gates and draft tube gates must close at velocities of 20m/min or more
  • Turbine controls requiring high position accuracy, short response times and high dynamics
  • Tainter gates need large slender hydraulics cylinders that move both slowly and in close synchronization
  • All hydraulics systems must provide highest degree of operational safety.
